 A good spectator also creates – Swiss ProverbI find faces and images to inspire my silk painting wherever I go. There is an animal face in the tile floor, a beautiful heart shaped cloud wisps by in the early morning OR there is a face in the way the cereal bits float blissfully in the milk in my bowl! There have been many times that I have been inspired to paint because of something that I have seen just puttering around my house and glancing out the window. This is also true when I glance out the window of my memory. This concept also applies to writing.A new word, someone's unique speech patterning will spur a blog post or a note to a group of like minded friends. Being a spectator has allowed me the wonderful gift of seeing behind things and situations in such fascinating and enchanting ways that I cannot help but be grateful. Creatvity brings us close to the energy of the Divine. Namaste. |
